This is a free beginner-friendly face scrubby pattern that I hope you’ll enjoy!
I love making these crochet face scrubbies! These whip up super fast and are very easy to make. They are washable, reusable, and eco-friendly too. These make great gifts that can be used over again and again.
Let’s Talk About Face Scrubbies
This past Christmas, I made these two-tone face scrubbies for my mother and sister-in-law as part of a spa gift set. They fell in love with them!
I also love using these face scrubbies in my daily skin-care routine. They are excellent for cleansing and exfoliating your skin. Using handmade scrubbies is eco-friendly, but they are also very cost-efficient. I don’t have to spend money on disposable makeup remover wipes anymore.
My face scrubbies are made with two strands of cotton yarn. You’ll want to use 100% cotton yarn when making these. Cotton is a stronger, more durable fiber that is excellent for absorbing water and drying out fast. When I make my scrubbies I like to use Lilly Sugar’n Cream yarn. I like the coarser texture that it has for exfoliation. Of course, you can use any medium worsted weight cotton yarn. Because this pattern uses so little yarn, this is a great project to use up some of that yarn stash you have lying around.
